Year 1’s Exciting Encounter with “Animals Take Over”

Year 1 pupils at Burtonwood Community Primary School had an unforgettable day when Animals Take Over brought a fascinating collection of animals into school.

The children were introduced to a majestic owl named Woody, a fluffy chinchilla, a tiny mouse, a fascinating frog, an intriguing lizard and a prickly hedgehog. The hands-on experience allowed the children to interact with the animals, learning about their habits, habitats, and unique characteristics.

Animals Take Over shared fun and educational facts, captivating the young learners and sparking curiosity about the animal kingdom. Year 1 pupils embraced the opportunity to hold and stroke the animals and ask questions.

The visit was a huge success.  It’s safe to say that Animals Take Over truly lived up to its name!

Thank you for providing such a memorable and enriching experience for our Year 1 class.
