Welcome to Burtonwood Primary School, we are one-form entry, co-educational Primary School based in Northwest Warrington. Classes are arranged in year groups of usually no more than 30 ensuring a focused and nurturing environment for all.

Our school building features traditional classrooms, a central library, a computer suite and a main hall, complemented by three dedicated intervention rooms. The main school building has a quadrangle which is currently being converted into a new garden, which will give all children, alongside our eco-council, opportunity to grow a range of vegetables, fruits and plants.

We have a dedicated area for Reception class with purpose-built amenities and an exciting, outdoor provision area to promote their physical development and communication skills.  The school also has extensive play areas and grounds, parts of which have been set aside and planted with trees as natural woodland areas. We have developed our largest woodland area – Willow Wood- into an exciting outdoor classroom area where we deliver forest school provision.

Our school is a proud member of the Omega Multi-Academy Trust family. This organisation is comprised of Alsop High School, Westbrook Old Hall Primary School, Chapelford Village Primary School, Park Road Community Primary School, Bradshaw Primary School and Great Sankey High School. The trust has a strong vision for collaboration across the schools within the trust, those located in Warrington and nationally. These strong partnerships ensure a smooth transition to secondary school, especially for the majority of Burtonwood children as they transition to Great Sankey High School in Year 7.
