Year 5 and Year 6 Embrace Yoga for Mental Health Awareness Week

As part of Mental Health Awareness Week, our Year 5 and Year 6 pupils took part in a relaxing and energising yoga session, focusing on the importance of well-being, mindfulness, and movement.

The session encouraged pupils to take time for themselves, practise deep breathing, stretching, and relaxation techniques, and understand how small moments of calm can positively impact their mental health. Through yoga, they explored ways to manage stress, build resilience, and develop a positive mindset, key skills that support both their learning and personal growth.

It was wonderful to see the children fully engaged, enjoying the experience, and recognising the benefits of looking after their mental and physical well-being. A fantastic way to celebrate Mental Health Awareness Week!
